Letter from a soldier to people

[Original Post in Burmese - Niknayman's blog]

I am an army engineer from Division (905). Captain Ye Win Aung from my army division is forcing everyone in our division to recruit new soldiers. If we are not successful in our recruitment, he threatens to re-deploy us from well-paid positions at the base camp to other places. On top of that, he also demands that we must recruit at least one new soldier per month. We have also been given strict orders to recruit even underage kids, beggers, and homeless people by either offering them money or capturing them by force. Hence, everyone of us in the division are feeling miserable about having to carry out such acts. Those army personnel who are close to obtaining pension, are especially worried that they might be punished if they did not carry out the orders.

I am writing this letter to you so that the people will be informed about our predicament in the army.

Why don't you just flee, I'm sure if civilians can make it out of Myanmar then members of the military would have no problem and be rewarded with asylum in countries like Australia.
Already the Refugees in Western countries are making comfortable livings with large homes, great education opportunities and world class health facilities.
Think about your life there and what is on offer for the future of your children.
What is your salary? in Australia for example a basic yearly salary can start at AUS$30,000 (180,000MMK)to over
AUS$100,000 (600,000MMK)

To the Army Engineer
saying "people will be informed about our predicament in the army."

Mate you got the tools, the orders to hurt disarmed innocent people... why not reverse the order and the problem will be solved... how many of you there wanting a life? it's about time that you start standing on your own boots instead of the tiptoeing around the general's shoes...

You can do it, you know the movements, you know they behaviour...

The opportunities are there - and many believe me - just stop complaining and invest the time in thinking "how can it be done...

BEST WISHES AND HUGE SUCCESS...

Singapore - a family dictatorship with corporate business sense and spin

Singapore would appear PRO-BUSINESS on the outside, yet when you actually live there you will see that if you don't follow the COMPANY/COUNTRY policy you will endure and suffer the consequences of the Singapore Family Owned/Monopolistic Corporate Tactics.

So what happens if you disagree with the Singapore's country's/company policy? Well, the ruling Family Dictatorship through it's People's Action Party (PAP), will use it's country/company LAWYERS, to sue you to near bankruptcy. Next, the county, through it's LEGAL SYSTEM will force you into bankruptcy and then if you can't pay, or the courts find you with criminal behavior, they will put you in jail.

Singapore's People's Action Party (PAP) is a one-party system that is unlike America's two party system via Democrats and Republicans. The People's Action Party has never lost a general election since Singapore was founded in the 1960's. And they win 99% of the time!

I just wanted to thank you for dedication on Burma matter and discriminating dictators from the modern society.

One thing though, I really hate when I type "burnadictator" in google (which is my website) and see your blog which has nothing to do with burning a dictator.

I'm trying to understand why google puts "burma dictator watch" on top instead of the correct input "burnadictator".

Please keep in touch for future references and co-operations.
